Where do you go to meet people? I've made a whole bunch of bar buddies, but almost all of them are dudes a decade older. Great to talk to for sure, but not going to help in this regard. Also I'm not in school so I can't meet people that way, and I own my own math tutoring business so anyone I meet through that is either a parent, a child, or an employee.

I don't have a huge number of friends to go out with, and I do always worry about meeting someone to the point where I have one friend who calls me "Midnight Leon_Depisa" around the end of the night, because no matter how good of a time I was having, there's only so long I can go before I remember that I'm single and really don't want to be. I definitely have to work on it, and I'm in therapy for it, but I just wish there was like the opposite of an engagement ring, like "Hey, I don't mind you just coming up and talking." I'm pretty intimidated by strangers, I think I've got a healthy dose of Imposter Syndrome when it comes to society. And my job too. Ugh.

Can we be DM buddies where we just chat every once in a while?
