Why are corporations people, and why is money speech?

Thanks. To some degree, the Business Law student on me understands the personage bit with corps, but I will never get the “money is speech” bit.

What happens when DOJ doesn't give the judge an unredacted copy? How will the judge know the "unredactions" are authentic, and not just made up?
