I don't get a flu shot because I have a weakened immune system, I get it for the people who do.

Did you find it helped not knowing all of the information? I'm battling germ cell cancer right now and have nodes on my lungs but I still haven't looked at any of the xrays or ct scans just because I'd rather not think about it. It's not that I'm not willing to accept it, but treatment is going to be treatment whether I see the full extent of it or not, no reason freaking myself out more.

Great book. Read it a few years before I was diagnosed. Knew quite a bit about cancer, it was good in some ways, bad in others..

Honestly, to hell with the prosthetic. If you and your partner don't care, then why bother? I've heard people often have issues with them as well.

I've been one-nutting it for over 5 years now and you get used to it pretty quick.
