My girlfriend was accepted as a refugee. She got the approval letter in late december.

Right away, she filed the papers for Permanent residency in January.

How long do you think it will take for her to get it, assuming everything works fine? And then from there, how long before she gets citizenship?

She's from a central american country. How hard will it be for her to get into the US with me on vacation once she has her PR?

She lives with me in my house. Would us being married make it any easier to travel to the US?

I'm asking because being in Montreal, US cities and the coast are an obvious choice for roadtrips.
