Two time recipient of Kidney Transplants here. Got my first transplant from my mom when I was 18. Got my second transplant when I was 30 from a brain dead donor.

Just wanted to say thank you for doing this

It’s been decades since my mom donated her kidney and she is doing fine in that department. Did your doctors tell you about what to expect would happen to you and your kidney in the coming years after being a donor now?
