Thinking about planning any trips out of the country? I can imagine that getting out of a place that doesn’t embrace our broken institutions might be a relief mentally even if it’s just for a little while.

I’m sorry. It doesn’t make you less worthy of love or a slut or really anything different than you’ve ever been. My ex girlfriend has hsv2 and lied about it multiple times to me. I only mention that because even with having to find out from a mutual friend, we worked through it and broke up for other reasons. That’s how little of a deal it was. Be upfront with your partner when you get to that point but it’s NOT a big deal. Truly, it’s like an acne breakout for your junk and that’s about the extent of it. You’ll get through this and you will feel better. People will still love you. Sex will still be good. It’ll be okay.
