What effect do stronger gun laws have on shootings in states and cities that have them enacted?

Why in the world can’t the beer industry come up with standardized and easy to read date codes for their beers. I’m a retailer of booze and am constantly struggling with every brewery using different coding for their beers…. Is it best by date? Production date? Julian date coded with brewery specific data that no one can decipher? Is only on the can which is inside a cardboard carrier and can’t be read?

Another question: would you be in favor of FDA regulation of caloric and nutritional info on alcoholic beverages? Why or why not? Seems like something more and more consumers are pushing for.
