Hi renée! Thanks so much for doing this! I am an aspiring opera singer studying at Birmingham conservatoire, UK. I recently suffered from mild vocal problems and had to take a year out of studies and am now working harder than ever to get my vocal stamina back etc. Just sometimes it feels so darn useless and that I will never make it in the opera world. I was wondering (and trying not to be too morbid), did you ever think you were not going to suceed? What kept you pushing on? And how would you encourage future generations of so singers to continue following their dream, despite it being such a difficult career to get into? Thanks so much again!
