I travel to Istanbul often and also look after community cats here in NYC. Most of us practice TNR here's a good resource http://animalalliancenyc.org/feralcats/. Do you think that TNR (trap neuter and release) could be practiced in Istanbul? Do you think that there might be support for such a movement?

You don't see so many clipped ears in Istanbul, but I have seen a few in Ankara. If anyone wants to see more images of community cats in Istanbul I recommend searching #catsofistanbul on Instagram. Looking forward to seeing the film tomorrow night at the Metrograph!
