I have no intentions of taking it down, but since you came forward as more than some random shit I found years ago on the internet I figured I would extend the courtesy of it being your choice.
My webserver isn't much more than an archive of shit I like and the google ads keep it relatively zero sum so it'll be running pretty much forever as far as I'm concerned.

Haha yeah. Again another thing I found somewhere on the internet.
When I did that I was pretty new to IT and running a webserver. I did it to see if I could download a java file and put it up. It was a success!
Then it spread across forums and my site got pounded. Here is what happened when the worm game got popular.

Yeah. Max clients are being filled up. I bumped it up but it already filled up again.
256 apache processes running serving lawls out at light speed!

It wasn't that the site is getting hammered on bandwidth. It's that apache can only serve so many clients at a time. I upped it from 150 to 256. That should help some.

I run liquidcode.org. Would you like me to take your content down?
I put it up because I thought it was hilarious and mirrored it for my own lulz. Then all the other mirrors went down. I kept it up. When Cracked originally put that article up it brought my little VPS to it's knees and used most my allotted bandwidth for the month. I tossed google ads up there to help pay for my bandwidth overages.
EDIT: Here is what happened when cracked first posted that article. http://imgur.com/fILyQ
EDIT2: It's happening again! http://imgur.com/zQ0De
Updated MaxClients in apache from 150 to 256. This should resolve some of the slowness issues.
