I read once that Mr. Verhoeven considers Robocop to be a Jesus Christ allegory. He died. He was resurrected. He walks on water. Is this notion something Mr. Verhoeven mentioned to the cast at any point in production?

Thanks for responding! You are the reason my father continously threatens to shove his foot up my ass. I believe this to be a promise more than threat and my life is somehow better because of it (helps keep me off the streets and etc).
