As an obscure artist who’s comedic sensibilities can be misunderstood, what was your approach to expressing yourself creatively when you were first starting out? Since the creative process requires vulnerability, it’s especially hard to continually put yourself “out there” when your thoughts seem to go under-appreciated by the middle of the bell curve.
So at the risk of asking a question that’s too personal for the internet, I guess I’m wondering where you draw your confidence from? Especially when you were younger and didn’t have much under your belt.
