It's kind of perverse, isn't it? I'm glad I've only ever worked on jobs taking place in about one building so we were somewhat aware of how the way we did our jobs effected people down the line from us.

So the folks who managed things well, didn't leave us with work to do that made it harder to do our work, and visa versa. Although sometimes, there were a few that just sort of rushed through things and left a mess for the next people that had to deal with it. Our area management were actually some of those people. Just because they could manage hundreds of people, didn't mean they could effectively contribute to our site. Because the folks in the room with us managing, they were also working, and the area management wasn't necessarily good at the manual labor and cleaning tasks we did. Some of them were actually kind of bad at it.

How much do you see in the way of resentment/chip on the shoulder around where you live? We have a couple tribes in my area and both of them got screwed about as often as any tribe, and a certain number of people you see from either one seem as I said, resentful and hostile to outsiders because of this.
