I've always had a passing fancy for staring at the greeblies on those ships. I'm a model kit builder/basher myself (no where near scratchbuilder ability), and I don't remember seeing those bottles on those ships. Where would be the most obvious one? I bet it's one of those things that once I see it, I can't not see them all over the place.

As someone who lived through the time when Milli Vanilli was big, this is definitely what happened. C&C Music Factory did the same thing to Martha Wash. Used her vocals for "Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)", but never credited her, and put some other woman in the video because Martha wasn't visually what they wanted. Anyone who knows Martha knows she's a big girl, and has a hit with "It's Raining Men" while in the Weathergirls.
