From multiple comments here it seems your main income is from drinks. Do you have a house rule that prohibits people from bringing their own drinks in bottles? It seems non-drinking/eating customers would be a net loss for your enterprise.

All static venues in the UK have to offer water for free if they have alcohol for sale. While premises can charge for use of the glass/service, they cannot prevent you from bringing & filling an empty bottle. Breach of alcohol licensing conditions (which this comes under) can result in a £20k fine or up to 6 months in prison.

People can always drink water for free, which helps discourage bringing your own drinks.

Over 1million people went on a demonstration on 9 June.

Was this really ~1/8 HongKongers, or did people come from elsewhere to participate?

One of my most cherished internet friends has lupus. I read the topic title and immediately thought of her.

It was something that, living in America, always seemed difficult for her to deal with - as somebody who lives in the UK, the concept of (potentially) being clfaced with large medical bills seems very strange.

Where is it that you live (if you don't mind my asking) and how has the health service helped (or hindered) you while dealing with your health problems?
