Not OP, but you‘re paying for someone with a specialized skillset to drive to your home not knowing whether or not it‘s safe, provide a service using skills that they‘ve practiced for years, protect themselves from liability while bypassing an active security measure, causing wear on their own tools (picks break quite often) while not giving a consideration for the weather.
Honestly, it‘s cheaper for you to break and replace a window. If cost is such a factor, why call a locksmith who might have to drive multiple hours to answer your lockout?
