oh I totally hear you. re "laundry" I'd suggest really doing things in 6-10 minute chunks (or even smaller). When you can get away from other things, return to the task a few minutes at a time, until done. Sort of find a new or different rhythm to do things around your child's needs. Also, remember their "crying" is more like talking or communicating than indicating they are actually in danger/pain/distress. If they are safe, it's ok to leave them crying a little bit from time to time to get food made or laundry put in, or going number 2 or whatever you need to get done in the day. Good luck and well done! Being a parent is HARD and you are doing it!

I came to understand that "laziness" isn't really a thing... it's something else underneath, or a set of factors, and that "something else" could be depression

Yes, many of the fundamental Christians I know in the US and Canada (not so much Brazil) will not necessarily say this outloud, it's not one of those "written" things, but pretty much and basically as you say. It can be an enormous hurdle for a person when their whole family is not in alignment with them getting professional treatment, there's an interference to the process of getting well that is usually subtle and subconcious, but very very effective at keeping an individual stuck.

Carefully consider it with a Dr's supervision if you have chronic low blood pressure. It really could trigger a heart attack or something like that. This side of it isn't well understood, and I don't know if the guides get medical training like this, because I spoke directly with a guide in Peru about this and he was truthful. I opted out.
