Trent Holland was a little man, small in stature and spirit. He had a Napoleonic complex, and desperately wanted to be on even footing with better men than himself.

He was a terrible man, but not because he was short. I'm short. I'd never cover up a rape or frame innocent people to get my face on the news.

Maybe he had an inferiority complex, maybe he didn't. Even if he did, it's impossible for him to say with such certainty that it was because he was short.
