So there used to be this awesome channel on TV called Tech TV. In 2003/2004 (I think) G4 bought Tech TV. They then fired most of the staff, and many good shows either evolved into something else or just quit airing all together. G4 then Called itself G4TechTV for about a year. Before becoming just G4 again. There used to be a show called The Screen Savers, with Leo Laporte, Patric Norton, Kevin Rose(yes that one) and others. This show eventually evolved into Attack of the Show which IMHO had none of the charm of The Screen Savers. Almost, all other shows were cancelled...except for one XPlay.

Anyway after about a year of being snubbed by G4 all the original people from TechTV said "Fuck This Shit" and created Revision 3. Leo Laporte went onto focus fulltime on "This Week in Tech". Martin Sargent, Patrick Norton, and many others moved to Revision 3.

So now, Adam has been stuck back at G4 without any of his pals. Finally he is freed and all his old friends welcome him back with open arms and forgive him for not jumping ship with the rest of the cast. ;) (I still love you Adam)

TL;DR: Most of the people that created Revision 3 are old friends from the days of Tech TV, which G4 completely and utterly destroyed.
