Do you think it was harder finding a publisher for your story due to the lesbian (and other non-mainstream) themes? Being an amateur writer, it's the kind of thing I like to worry about instead of actually writing.

THIS! As a lesbian, the whole "I used to be a lesbian" thing in the show is REALLY annoying. (Was SO happy when they finally clarified that Piper didn't just stop liking women). Perpetuates the stereotype that lesbians will only stay that way until they meet the right guy.
