Couple questions, and i genuinely dont know but i would genuinely like to look into kidney donation. Its gonna sound like an ELI5 but its just ignorance.

A) Does donating one of your kidneys put a lot of strain on your other kidney?

B) what causes so many kidney failures?

What advice would you give to someone who dreams of doing shipwork but has never done it before?
