Any chance the male human could be less extreme at least? The only male option being gargantuan seems to be most people's beef about the body size limitations.

As it pertains to the original, I can answer that. The joining player takes command of one of the two main characters - however, they can join up during character creation, so they still get to make their own if you set up to start with someone.
