Do you currently attend Gallaudet university? I ask because you say you're from the US and decided to go to a deaf college.

Also, would you consider yourself deaf or Deaf? (I'm assuming you're familiar with the terms, but in case you aren't, the capital D signifies Deaf culture, rather than simply the physical condition.)

In the USA, we use commas to separate the thousands place from the hundreds. In (some places in) Europe, they use periods. In the USA, we only use periods to separate dollars from cents.
