I have several questions, as I have never seen someone do an AMA on such a widely discussed subject.

1) As a member of the US Military, I can speak for many members that I know personally on this subject. Why are members of the WBBC so anti-military and why do they feel the need to be so disrespectful to the dead who have died to protect their rights?

2) Has the experience of you being a member caused you to turn away from faith or beliefs?

3) Are there any redeeming factors in your eyes about the WBBC?

Thank you for doing this AMA, also. Many people have questions about the subject but few answers.

Thank you for answering my questions, OP. Though you aren't making the argument yourself, I'd like to just make a point on your answer to my first question. We soldiers don't fight for gay-marriage rights... We fight for all rights.

I'm remarkably surprised to see how positive and open of a reaction you have towards faith after what you have been through! Keep that attitude, for it will serve you well, I guarantee it! Open minds always win. :)

Also, it's good to see that despite the outcome of being disowned and such, you can still see a positive side of things. Honestly, that impresses me.

Well, again, thank you for answering these questions and I wish you the best of luck OP!

I've always wondered, and maybe this is already asked, but, when you sleep... Do you dream? What are your dreams like?

Mr. Burton,

Not related to Reading Rainbow, but to Star Trek. :) I just wanted to say I've been watching Trek since I was 13, and Geordi and Data are my favorite characters. I was wondering what your favorite episode is, and who you most enjoyed working with during The Next Generation?

Q'apla!
