Hey! I'm 25 about to be 26 coming up soon. I'm a DBA by profession with school completed and what not. Hope your ready for this tidbit. Basically me and my girlfriend were together for 5 years. We're both from Pakistan but raised here in Chicago since we were like 4 years old so we're not culturally less than Americans you can say. She's a daddy's girl and listens to anything her dad says sadly, she never wants to disrespect or upset her dad. I understand that we don't want to upset our parents. Out families were good with each other and knew that we wanted to get married. One day her dad found her a doctor. I'm not making 500k+ a year and tbh I don't know if I ever will. Now her dad wants her to marry this doctor and it's basically put her in a predicament. I haven't talked to her in almost 3 months when her father called me and stated that me and her are done and can't be together. So I've been trying to figure something out. I unno maybe you can share some insight into this situation. I tried seeing her before and trying to talk to her but she would cry and say that her dad said it can't happen. Sorry if this was long my man. Kinda felt good to vent.
