Another option is the ratatouille from... well... ratatouille!
That dish was actually based on a real dish "Confit Byaldi"
I've made it before for a farewell party of a Disney nerd. Quite time consuming, but very good.

Yes it is. I'm just talking about the movie version of it which is specifically based on Thomas Keller's interpretation of Ratatouille that he named Confit Byaldi. It's a noveau cuisine version of ratatouille that was actually served at The French Laundry.
Generally ratatouille is more all mixed together, Confit Byaldi presents it differently as well as some prep and ingredient differences.
Keller was the food advisor on the movie which is why they used that dish for it.
The dish is also a mix of both ratatouille and a Turkish dish "bialdi" hence the name, here's more info: http://www.grubstreet.com/2007/07/remys_ratatouille_is_pure_kell.html

I've been flat out told by potential employers "a man working with young kids is creepy. We'd never hire you".
Are there any sort of anti-discrimination laws where you are that prevent a prospective employer for denying based on gender? If so, and you could prove in court that they did say that with a recording (if legal in your jurisdiction) or something I would be pursuing that just simply for the sake of stamping out such a stigma and showing those kind of businesses that no, it is not okay to be doing that.

Only $10.86 per hour. Abysmal honestly for wrongful imprisonment.
