In Texarkana, they straight up have a police substation in the Arkansas side Wal-Mart. That place was a freaking mess.

Semi-related story time! I remember there was this guy who was saying that he was a former SEAL at the bar I used to work at. Being prior Navy, and having been to Afghanistan and fixed some SOCOM MRAPs, I was curious about it.

I asked what team he was on. Of course he said 6. I asked him where he usually worked, and he told me "All over, man. Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan. All over the place. I can't really talk about a lot of it. It's pretty classified."

At this point, I wasn't really suspicious, until he tried to say that he was a part of Mogadishu. Oh. You're one of those guys.

This was in 2011. He couldn't have been older than 40 at the time, which put him at the wee age of, like, 14 when it happened.

I think he thought that it was more recent because the movie only came out in 2001.
