I will add that its not as bad as its made out to be.

You'll never hear about the areas of the city with less crime or new city projects. Thats far less interesting than violence and crime.

In other words, this thread should net you some serious visits as well as a few sales here and there. :)

Because like most Reddit stories, small instances are magnified for the sake of an interesting story.

For example: every "Tell us a secret about your company or industry" thread.

As it turns out, most of it is bullshit exaggerations.
