If you're in the US, there is a legitimate Dutch windmill in Holland, Michigan. Windmill Island is the park it's in.

It's call De Zwaan) and as far as I know is the only authentic Dutch windmill in the US, and the last windmill exported from the Netherlands. And they do mill flour with it.

I'm working on a BB detector, it is hard.

One of the more effective ways of checking is to train dogs to sniff them out.

There are more and more people training dogs to smell bed bugs out. In most major cities there will be at least a few teams that you can contact to check out your properties. It's not a 100% guarantee, but dogs are really good at sniffing stuff out and are specifically trained to ignore dead bugs and feces, and only alert on live bed bugs or eggs.

Beyond that, steam the hell out of everything.

The dog training world has fairly recently (in the last 10-20 years) gone through a fairly major change in that positive reinforcement/reward based training is becoming more and more the norm.

Has anything like this happened in the horse world?

Also, I've heard that horses don't really know their own names. Is this just a load of crap?

You can look into "No Thank You Evil!". I played a demo game of that and it's a cute rpg for kids. Depending on the 5 year old, and depending on how you GM, I think that would be possible!
