Do you obey "no soliciting" signs on a home? What about if an entire subdivision has no soliciting signs? If so, thank you! If not, why?

Knowing OOP and design patterns is really language agnostic, and would be better indicators of a programmer who "knows programming". Having google, I no longer need to know the syntax and exact name of every aspect of a language to know how to use it.

Thanks for your honest answer. I appreciate that you do knock anyway to try to explain why you walked up to their door, but... Having had small kids, I see it from the other side that you may have just woken up a baby, and now after apologizing you are still going to try to solicit? Not cool. I much prefer the guys who see the no soliciting sign and just leave a brochure/pamphlet/card without knocking in those situations, as they are at least not disturbing the household.
