Thank you. I work in the community and recently got a young guy who has had both legs amputated. I just was honest and said, "you know what I have no clue what to say as I'm scared of offending you" and he laughed and said he was fed up of people asking how he was coping.

Us nurses are obsessed with bowels and pressure areas! I apologise in advance!

I'm a nurse and I deal with amputees quite a lot. What's one question you don't want us to ask? I always ask people how they are coping, esp if it's a new surgery etc but I don't want to appear rude.

I have hip dysplasia, basically my hip dislocate. Would I be able to have a home birth or a water birth? Not expecting yet but hoping soon!
