Cartels don't bother with pot anymore. There's no money in it. Nobody is going to buy shitty cartel pot when the high quality shit is grown legally inside the states

EDIT: So obviously there are still cartels that grow and sell marijuana. The point I'm making is that when you compare that to the meth, coke, heroin, and fentanyl that's being smuggled, pot gets wiped off the radar.

Thinking about it, and I'm getting an answer that almost horrifies me even more.

They probably aren't worried about people fighting back because the person is probably not ever in a position to fight back. Either strapped down or what have you.

It sounds exactly like sanctioned torture.

I really don't care about Bear or his public opinion but you're kind of wrong. What he does on his shows is he shows (mostly) what the optimal attempt of surviving, but also realizes that you probably won't always be able or remember the optimal way. So he purposefully fucks up to show you what to do when you fuck up.

I'm 100% aware his show was faked (more or less) but I also feel as if he never really tried to sell it as 100% real. I remember a show where he was on an island and refused to kill a turtle because it was endangered (think it was a turtle) and said "In a survival situation I'd obviously kill this and eat it, but I'm in absolutely no danger, so I won't be killing it."

Also, he's still a badass. If he wants to camp in the wild and make a TV show about surviving in it, more power to him, he's done his duty.

I wasn't accusing them of purposfully making it worse, but I was wondering if you had any insight as to why more effort wasn't/isn't being put into proper PC ports?

Not asking for technical details as I probably wouldn't understand much of it either

For PC I honestly think CoD: Ghosts is horrible. I don't think there was anything new, the story was cliche, and the optimization for PC was absolutely horrible (which I will ask about a little bit further down). The game isn't bad, don't think it deserves 2.3, but I wouldn't even call it a decent game. These are all my opinions and not directed at you in any way, so please don't think that.

Question: What is the deal with PC optimization for games? Why is it, most of the time, done horribly?

Examples I can think of are COD Ghosts is horrible from personal experience, Need for Speed Rivals is locked at 30FPS and when you use third party to unlock it, it runs double speed. Why is this the case?
