No questions, I just wanted to say thanks for putting so much work into this. It's an important issue, and for those of us who feel strongly but are terrible at organizing, it's wonderful to have people like you all who have made it so easy for everyone else to show their support in other ways (showing up at the event, for example).

I suspect Victoria inserted a modifier like "...if you're reading something right now."

It's a great idea for an AMA, but if OP isn't even comfortable listing the names of any of the countries (s)he's been to (however justifiably; I can't say I would if my job were on the line), it kind of takes the "Anything" aspect off the table.

Ask a Diplomat Anything That Doesn't Have to do with Other Countries = a pretty limited set of questions.

Edit: I know people shouldn't be expected to reveal state secrets on here, but if someone's uncomfortable listing any specifics about the job they think is interesting enough to do an AMA about, there's really no point to doing it at all. Yeah, it's a decent platform for advertising the benefits of your work, but you'll notice the NSA isn't doing any AMAs despite their current PR problems. If you can't talk about it, don't do an AMA on it.

Same for me. Adult onset migraines in my 20s, scaled back to low-estro birth control, migraines faded then increased, went off bc entirely, no more migraines except with really intense weather systems.
