You should specify: most two bladed rigid or semi-rigid rotor system helicopters. The danger isn't the maneuver itself, but rather the mast bumping that occurs because of it. In a multi-bladed fully articulated rotor system, it's really not much of a concern. Hell, negative G maneuvers is how OH-58D and AH-64 pilots "gun bump" to engage a target. Abrupt cyclic climb followed by a steep nose-over.
