How do you ignore all the negative jokes directed at you and your video? Has it changed how you view people in general? Did it ever really hurt or are you able to push it to the side?

Sorry I didn't mean for it to come off that way and reading my comment it does seem some what ethnocentric. I apologize. I am not a practicing Christian and do not believe it to be right or "superior" to others including the Hawaiian religion. It was a poor choice of words and I will ensure I don't repeat the mistake in the future. Sorry if I insulted.

hijack here for a second. I work for a Christian Native Hawaiian school that embraces both the Christian teachings and traditional Hawaiian myths and beliefs. Its very interesting to see some of my co workers follow both without addressing the clear conflict. But at the end of the day they find peace and happiness within it so I dont ever dare to question and risk offending.

from what I remember there is a mele allowing you to ask for permission, but I may be wrong
