Are flight simulators accurate?

As a person who is trying hard to get the hang of the art of uni cycling, what type of advice can you give me?

Squawk 8300 to inform ATC of a hijacking and they'll get negotiators in. You actually have to follow their commands, because it's important you stay alive. Also, negotiate with their commands unless it's completely ridiculous eg. take a Cessna to Antarctica.

That's the spirit! Don't forget to pull out the throttles and whack them in the head!
