This is really cool, first of all, and I really hope this gets more attention!

Second of all: Just wow. I guess just basic questions... - How long was she there? - What were the conditions like? Where did she sleep, with how many people, what did she eat, what did she do every day? What was her everyday life like? - If this isn't too personal, was her child conceived in the camp or prior to arrival? What were the medical facilities like for her delivery? (And I guess in general?)

Thanks!!! I know that's a lot of questions. This is slightly random, but my grandmother actually also lived through WWII - she was a child in a Ukrainian village and the Nazis came and took over and had to be quartered in her house. She actually said that the kids taking over her town were just that - kids; they were mostly teenagers who'd gotten drafted and didn't really want to be there. So some of the soldiers actually brought the families they stayed with food and chocolate (which was harder to come by in the village). That story pretty much made me want to never judge people by what they do for a living/the positions/groups they're in for the rest of my life.

Thanks so much for doing this!!

How do you feel about your time in the military? Did serving meet your expectations, and if not, what was different than you expected?

Thanks! And I absolutely agree. The older you get, the more stories you have to tell. (Unless you're me and just spend all your days on Reddit, haha.)
