Haven't you been to the movies recently?

...Was this meant to be a fact? I can hardly see you criticizing /u/2dollarb for not stating facts when you consider this support for your argument that they're "just wrong".

You don't know how we view ourselves.

And something else /u/2dollarb said applies here too - rather than taking the opportunity to tell people where you stand, you just concentrate on reiterating the "we're so misunderstood" talking point. You could have simply clarified your position (you still could), which would have implicitly told /u/2dollarb what specifically their misassumption was - but instead you've clarified nothing and just seemed to be making their point for them.

David lets you produce a demand letter in 5 minutes at no upfront cost, which the cable company takes more seriously than a call to customer support.

Is there any risk of them no longer taking demand letters seriously if they believe users aren't going to follow up?

Right, I'm just wondering how/when money goes back to seedcamp. Partial ownership, or is it like a loan that gets paid back, etc.

I guess my question is, how is your business sustainable. Do you end up owning/earning revenue from the startups' revenue streams, and/or is there a particular business model the startups usually end up going with?

How do you find people to fund?

How do you end up monetizing startups (i.e. getting money back from them), and what models (if any) do you favor for earning a return on investment?
