How has recovery proceeded in comparison to shorter flights?

I think getting to see more history fly by would be pretty cool anyway though. There is the slight issue where most of your freinds and family will die sooner though.

What actual changes are being made from these boosters vs when they were being used on the Shuttle system?

Also, I don't suppose you have some idea of when the advanced booster will be picked?

I know there are some real aerospace engineers hanging out in r/kerbalspaceprogram, but for the most part I would imagine that doing rocket science all day leads to different hobbies.

Not NASA, but the specs say it throttles from 70 to 111%, with actual flight on the shuttle never exceeding 109%.
