I was once smoking weed behind a weatherspoons with a friend, and was caught red handed by two police officers. Whilst they were taking our details, a drunkard comes around the corner and unaware of their presence, starts pissing a few meters away. Our stoned selves couldn't stop laughing and managed to turn the situation into a big joke with the police finding it pretty funny & ironic too. While they went over to arrest the drunkard we were pretty certain they'd let us go, and they did. Would you turn a blind eye to a pot smoker if you knew it wouldn't get yourself in trouble?

How often do you choose to blow up a bomb rather than defuse it? (I've heard that this is sometimes the easier/safer option)

Thanks for the reply, when I asked 'has that ever gone wrong?' In my head I imagined going wrong being that the explosion was much bigger than you would have expected. I totally forgot how much you must use robots and other mechanical devices.

So, my next question, has an explosion ever been vastly greater than what you expected? Perhaps additional explosives that the team were not aware off? I'd expect if this ever happens for it to be very rare, so if not in your own experience have you ever heard of this sort of thing ever happening?

How did the locals view and treat you? I assume staying away from the hotels and such like you say you were would make you look like less of a tourist. I'm assuming the more you look like a tourist the more dangerous attention you'd get. Would you agree, regarding Honduras in particular?
