Buddy of mine used to be a CO and got fired over some bullshit, which was a shame because he is a good dude and in it for the right reasons like you. Most cops never hear a thank you, but since you've been nice enough to regale us with some of your stories I have one for you.

I was crazy about this girl in college but we both worked super late. I wanted to do something romantic for her so I took her to a park after she got off work for a picnic/date thing with candles and the whole works. It was a safe neighborhood so I didn't think we were in much danger or anything, I just wanted a romantic quiet evening so we could connect. While we were eating I didn't notice but a car pulled up with its lights off and turned them on when it was practically on top of us. It turned out to be a police officer.

Now I know full well we weren't supposed to be there after dark, so I was ready to accept the consequences. We blew out the candles while the police officer walked up and I stood up to greet him and face the music. He asked us if we knew the park was closed after dark, which I answered truthfully. He asked what we were doing which I also told him truthfully. Finally he asked if we had any drugs or anything illegal which I told him we didn't. He nods, turns and starts walking away.

I was a little blown away and I told him we'd get our stuff together and get out. He stopped after opening the door, looked back and said "What? No, you guys aren't doing anything wrong. Finish up your date then clear out when you're done eating." We were a little stunned to say the least and spent the rest of the night enjoying the stars together.

Fast forward four years, I see the same police officer and walk up to thank him and shake his hand. I told him about that night and how grateful I was for the way he handled it and that the girl I was with was now my wife. He was on duty so he didn't really say much to me other than a pretty generic response but the slight smirk on his face told me he probably remembered what I was talking about.

So, from my family to you, thank you for being one of the good guys. It'll be a shame to see you go, the world needs more people like you.

Came here to see lifts and stats, sadly disappointed OP. What are your lifts? PRs? Any competition videos? Grats on turning things around though, power lifting needs more love.

OP delivers! Haha, thanks for the stats. Mirin' that squat, probably your best lift of the lot I'd say? Keep it up, looking great so far!
