I worked for a very large CRO (contract research org) filled with PhDs and biotech experts, and I worked directly with some of the most senior staff. Many of them were pants-shittingly terrified of Theranos and thought they were going to put us out of business. If people had reservations about blood on a chip, they weren't sharing them with me.

Just one example, of course, but the multi-billion dollar company I worked for was fooled. To the point of making several technology investments to prepare for it in fact.

What's your #1 interview question to ask when hiring a scrum master?

How do we know black holes don't actually destroy space-time? And (hypothetically) if they were, what would the implications be for the theories of dark matter and dark energy?

Do you go over to Pto la Cruz ever? Have the cruise ships stopped coming in? Are things better or worse there compared to the rest of the country?

I'd assume Margarita is one of the safest places to be right now. Do you agree or no?

Several years ago I was pretty close to going down there for a summer to help on the project, strictly as a worker (maintenance, support, etc). At the last minute my position was taken by grad students so I never went.

I never did get a great understanding of the job. So what do the "worker bees" do when you're there? How do they pass the time?
