Thanks! I actually lived and worked in China for the past 6 months teaching English and piano (I am a teacher here in England), but it was so easy there and I was really lucky, people were knocking on the door and offering me all kinds of work. However, my boyfriend will be moving to Brazil next week (he is a Brazilian national) and the plan is that I will join him in April, but I am pooping bricks - I will need a job and it's proving impossible to find anything in advance, I think I will need to just turn up and spam out English schools in the hope someone will take me!

Would you have any tips for me, I will stay with my boyfriend so no costs really - but it would be good to have a job, don't want to sponge from my boyfriend and I would like to take up dance and Portuguese lessons

This is something I am really interested in and thinking of going back to school to pursue. I am interested in anthropology, psychology and biology. How did you decide to get into this and what is the wage like? ;)

Hi, I am would love to do what you have been and are doing!

How did you get set up with Au Pair jobs? I am from UK and a teacher. I was hoping to get started in an English speaking country and work a little in New York, Australia and New Zealand. Were there any specific sites that you used?

Thanks for the interesting AMA!
