How did you go about getting onto the gig in the first place? Do you find reaching out to bands themselves via Instagram to be most successful or through their touring agents via email?

I play in an Australian band and we find all the bigger acts have supports ways before their shows are even announced

Kid on a leash, we're from Australia. Appreciate the listen and the response man. Here's a link to our latest single on Spotify called 'Just give me a Second'.

All our other music and socials can be found here in our linktree. Really enjoyed this AMA man, thankyou.

We did have management, but she was more of a roadblock/gatekeeper. We got less gigs with her in the two years then when I was running the band. Now since I've taken back over we're picking back up.

Still, playing consistent shows and pulling local crowds all while d.i.y. is getting tiresome in our small town. We're thinking of flying to the states in 2024 and self funding a west coast mini tour. Branch out a bit. But also to have that once in a lifetime opportunity being in a band can offer

Damn, I missed this! I sing in a pop punk band in Australia and would have loved to have asked some questions on where you plan to tour etc. We're planning an Australian tour around end of June.

I'm actually in San Diego for a few days in June. Any good recommendations on where I could catch a show. Or feel like grabbing a beer and talking about music? I'm sure my wife will be sick of me by then.
