When reread your post I did see that you said aquariums so now I kind of feel dumb for asking but still wanted to say thanks for the joy you bring.

Word of warning about doing this: If you tip on the restaurant app 9/10 the restaurant keeps the tip and the driver never sees it. It’s up to the restaurant to give the driver the tip and well, they just don’t. There’s no way to ask if a tip was left without actually asking the customer (which is unprofessional). If you do use their app, tipping in cash is extra important.

And talk about being deceptive to the customer. When people came out and said doordash was “stealing tips.” That was deceptive. I don’t blame customers for getting mad when that type of false and inflammatory language is used. But the truth is, we do, and always did get all of our tips. The solution to doordash misleading the customer was to mislead the customer? Smh.

Did you read the terms of service prior to doing this to fully understand how the pay works or did you just sign up and go?
Did you fully understand how the guarantee works and how it benefits drivers?
Why did you choose delivering on a bike? There are different vehicles with different pros and cons. Maybe could try doing it with different methods of transportation. Most people use cars and not bikes so the situation will be very different.

The aquarium in my city puts mermaids in one of the tanks for one week a year. Is that some of the type of work you would do? If so, that’s super cool. Fun for the adults but for the kids it’s magical because they think you are real mermaids so I appreciate you keeping the dream alive.
