Thank you, Manixia. I wish the best for you, your family and your friends in the future. I hope to join your effort and who knows, someday maybe we'll be on the grid together.
Also, TY to Legacies Of War.
and, to everyone on reddit; TY for your support, your time and your mind. Americans are quick to extend their hand in times of need. For every hurricane, earthquake and tsunami, Laos has stood; a perpetual disaster area. In constant need of relief, from relic left by our own secret war. I think spreading information is the key. Tell a co-worker at the watercooler. Tell your friend after the gym. Raise social and political (and viral?) awareness of what you learned about Laos and the US. Bring it up when you can, you'd be amazed how unknown the issue is. Maybe someday we'll have a Jerry Lewis teleathon and a Laos-aid concert! Point is: Anything you can do is great. I'll do what I can too.

Do you ever work with US/EU clearance personnel? I am a U.S.ACE UXO Tech, and it has been my goal to help Laos in their remediation efforts. As far as I've found, most opportunities for expats are in administration or public relations sect. I'm looking to avail my training and skills to directly aid the people of Laos in any way that is needed. I've talked with some former members of UXOLao, all of whom gave me the impression my assistance would be a welcomed boon. Whether it be to assist in training new clearance techs, or to just be another body in the field digging for blu-26s, I'm ready and willing. Do you have any information/guidance for me?
