You're kind of being dickish. That isn't what was implied. I think he meant that there are many aspects, such as the example he gives of Hernandez losing the bail money for a crime he wasn't even involved in.

It costs over 50k to incarcerate someone for a year. Most of those are drug related nonviolent crimes. You're paying for that. As a business man, wouldn't it be better if they said, hey, take this guy, give him a job, we'll pay his wages for the next 2 years. If he re-offends, we'll send him back to prison. You know, there are a million better ways to the way things are done. Look at Norway for an example of this.

I'm curious, perhaps cuz I'm too liberal, but you said you have a business and that you can find out if someone has a drug arrest. Wouldn't it be better if those records only showed convictions rather than arrests? 80 million hopeless souls out there that might have committed a single sin in their youths, you're telling me those people don't deserve to be productive? If that is the case, don't ever complain about your taxes going up or when a desperate man robs your home before Christmas because he can't get a job to buy his kids a gift. I'm rambling here, but man's inhumanity to man amazes me.
