I am currently sitting in a college essay class, one where we read your work often. I'm also struggling with a personal essay for said course. Do you have any suggestions on how to better convey the magnitude or importance of a life event/experience in an essay?

You have a great skill of turning what seems to be minute into something greater and more meaningful, a skill I admire and hope to one day also possess.
