Hello and thank you for doing this AMA. I have a WD terabyte external hd that was dropped while it was plugged in. The heads crashed into the platter and got stuck so the drive wouldn't spin. I opened the drive very carefully and moved the arms back to the neutral position. There didn't appear to be any damage to the disk or other components on the inside. I'm not sure how to test the board. Now the drive spins but isn't recognized by my windows machine. What can I do, other than paying some company $1k+, to recover the years worth of pictures and videos?

What qualities do you think make a candidate successful? What is your opinion on anon campaign contributions? To me, it seems like no successful presidential candidate ever runs on their own beliefs of fairness and equality and just plays to their side, why do you think that an independent candidate hasn't become president since Washington?

What are your thoughts on talstar?
