Oh my goodness! Such a fan, sir.

Here's a deep cut: Do you feel (and if so, maybe how?) your earlier projects like The Fever and Dinner with Andre were in some ways predictive of our current times? If so... what's really changed, or is it simply that it's visible to us differently now?

Why did she react that way? Was there just really no warning you were coming out of the coma?

Hi Dr Carr! My question is about resilience. I grew up with, shall we say, a fairly high ACE score (Adverse Childhood Experiences for those new to it), so I've got some inbuilt history with trama and instability, and the pandemic triggered a lot of that for me as for so many others, as it's affected my career, my physical health and my marriage all very profoundly and negatively. I feel once again painfully aware of my lack of resilience and how it's compounded those effects. But most of what I've read seems to treat resilience as a skill we either gain in childhood, or not at all. Do you have any advice for how to gain resilience as an adult?

Thank you so much for your work and for this AMA!

Leaves fans "feeling" deceived and ripped off? Or actually just deceives them and rips them off?

I'm an American who's been living in Germany for the past 13 years. I co-sign all of this and will add: another improvement in my quality of life is the feeling that people have all agreed that these basic essentials are of value as a matter of common humanity. That if I fell, people would expect to help me up rather than shove me further down or use me as a stepping stool, or mock or blame me for having tripped. The fundamental sense of living in a social group rather than a field of individuals singly doing battle is an extraordinary relief.
